Urban Greening

‘Urban Greening’ is an approach to environmental sustainability that focuses on creating green, livable and usable public spaces in urban areas. The movement can trace its roots back to broader social reform movements such as environmental justice, and health in all policies. By enhancing public spaces, roads and works through greening, cities are able to build a strong sense of community while also implementing strong sustainability, public health, equity and infrastructure improvement measures.
